1. Information We Collect
When you use MeetMind, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and audio files you upload or record. We also collect usage data such as meeting counts and feature usage to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your audio files are processed to generate transcripts and AI-powered summaries. We use third-party services (Google Cloud Speech-to-Text for transcription, Google Gemini for summarization) to process your content. These services process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform). Audio files are stored in Firebase Storage, and meeting data is stored in Firestore. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement Firestore Security Rules to ensure users can only access their own data.
4. Data Retention
Your meeting data, transcripts, and summaries are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete a meeting, all associated data (audio file, transcript, summary) is permanently removed. When you delete your account, all data is cascade-deleted.
5. Your Rights
You can export your meeting data at any time in TXT or PDF format. You can delete individual meetings or your entire account from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems.
